Design Team Day!

Over at Dreamweaver, the designers are working with a gothic arch template. I used one of the newest background stencils with pearlescent embossing paste, and the sympathy sentiment with black matte paste. I outlined the card with gold leafing ink. See all the fabulous stencils and supplies right here.

The Papertake Weekly challenge is to incorporate blooms in your work.

The Impression Obsession designers are working with a black and white theme. This damask cover a card stamp is a new favourite of mine...so versatile! I outlined the dress with gold leafing ink.

Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by today! I hope you'll have time to visit the blogs of the other Dreamweaver and Impression Obsession designers; direct links are on my sidebar. Wishing you a delightful day, doing whatever you love!

I like that Cathedral windows stencil with this card design. Very cool. I also really like the card you did for IO, too. That is a beautiful stamp you used in a clever way!

Cathedral window quilt design...great minds! And I didn't even think of it...what does that say about my mind. LOL! lovely card and I love the dress too with the damask stamp. Did you create the dress design on your own or did you have a die cut?

Great minds think alike? I guess it was only natural to look at your sketch and think of the cathedral windows stencils. Beautiful card. Love the pearlescent paste for this.

Love both cards, Deborah, as they are my favorite style - clean and simple. Wouldn't mind it if the dress were real, either!

Deborah, I really like this for a sympathy card, simple and elegant. Great minds think alike on which stencil to put in the background!

I absolutely love the black and white dress! So cute! I am going to do my wedding in black and white - while I will probably not go into nearly as much detail as you, I enjoyed looking at your work! Beautiful!
