Challenges again!

Thus week's Impression Obsession challenge is to create things for men and/or boys. I used this Labrador Retriever stamp, stamped simply with Memento Black Ink, and paired with a birthday sentiment from this set. I LOVE the wonderful detail on this Lab stamp. Mitra has some supremely talented stamp designers on her team, that's for sure!

For your chance to win $25.00 in stamps from Impression Obsession, check out the challenge guidelines right here. I hope you'll have a little time to see what the other designers have done for the "guy"challenge. Links to their blogs are on my sidebar on the right.

This week's Dreamweaver challenge, set by our Ms Pam, is to use lavender and grey together. I sprayed this Butterfly Duo stencil with Memories Mist Pansy Ink, then positioned it ink side down on glossy cardstock. I actually did several of these at one time. Once you have all the materials out, why not, right? I LOVE these "Memories Mist"inks, and once I used ONE, I was compelled to shop for many MANY more...lol...can you relate?

I wanted a little more definition to the butterflies, so I repositioned the stencil and paste embossed with glossy white paste. After sprinkling a little clear glitter over the wet paste, I was just tickled pink with the final result!

I hope you'll have a little time to see what the other Dreamweaver designers have done for the grey and lavender challenge. Links to their blogs are on my sidebar.

Linking to these challenges today:

Fab and Funky (free theme)
Simon Says (things for a male)
Gingersnap Creations (shopping)
Charisma Cardz (something that flies)
Alphabet Challenge (D is for Dogs)

Thank you so much for visiting today. I wish you a day of peace and pleasure, doing whatever you love.

Deborah, so sorry about your pet. They become such a part of our family, don't they? Your doggie picture is beautiful and so is the butterfly card with the ink transfer technique. You are in my thoughts.
