Challenges...

This week's challenge for Dreamweaver designers is a free theme. I'm enjoying PURPLES this week. This card uses Dreamweaver stencil LL 585 Romantic Rose. I spritzed the stencil with Memories Mists Pansy and Blue Hawaiian, then lifted it gently with tweezers and placed it upside down on glossy cardstock so the inks transferred. A little ribbon, a paper flower and some bling made it into a birthday card for a dear friend, who loves mauves, to go with her birthday gift right here.

Love the way these inks blend on the glossy cardstock!

The Impression Obsession designers are also enjoying PURPLE this week! I used this stamp (Impression Obsession H 1838 Jack with House), coloured with chalks, and mounted on layers of purple and mauve cardstock. If you would like a chance to win free stamps too, the challenge is open until Oct 26, at 10 p.m. Just post your "Purple Card" at the bottom of the post on the Impression Obsession Blog, from October 20th. through October 26th., using Inlinkz.

The challenge guidelines are in the first side bar to the right on the IO Blog, near the top, under the "New Fall-Winter Card Album".

Hope you'll look at the list of designers for Impression Obsession and Dreamweaver on my sidebar...always wonderful inspiration on those blogs.

Thank you so much for visiting...wishing you a day filled with things you love to do.

Love the purple goodness (one of my favorite colors), and the way the ink "squished" (new technical term) on the glossy card stock. It's always nice to have an extra card in the stash.

Deborah I love your purple rose. It is so delicate and pretty. I need to get out my memory mists again and start playing some more. You always make such beautiful cards and by the way I love the impression obsession one as well.
