For a friend

This week's Created by Hand challenge is to use a tool or product you've never used before. I used my new Quietfire Design stamp, and also a pair of hinges from my husband's toolbox. This weeks challenge over at Arty Girlz is to reflect summer in our work. So I used my own sand dollar photo for this card, which will be for a friend moving to a new home. Underneath the hinged flap, I printed the following Irish Blessing:

"May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home.May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam.May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours."

The Papertake Weekly challenge is to use stitching somewhere.
I added a hat pin with pearls and a Swarovski rondelle bead for a little added bling.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today!
