Feeling like spring?

Well, I must say, it's difficult feeling like spring underneath all this SNOW in Nova Scotia. That's not to complain...I quite enjoy winter! But it's a little tough to "think spring" these days (lol). However, today's Impression Obsession challenge is...yep...feel like spring! So I put my thinking cap on, and used some to-be-released-at-CHA stamps for these cards.

I've become a new Gary Robertson stamp fan! This is one of several new stamps coming after CHA. I really like how they're such "naturals" to pair with FlowerSoft.

I've beel playing around with watercolour paints and vellum lately, just experimenting and having fun!

Now YOU can play in the Impression Obsession challenge too! The only rules? Use IO stamps please and email your cards to this address when you're done! shirleyone@carolina.rr.com.

You could win a $25 IO Gift Certificate, and you can have your work proudly displayed on the IO Blog! You can visit the IO Blog HERE for more details! All participants' cards will be posted there and also permanently in the IO Customer Album.

I can't wrap my head around spring yet either but your lovely cards have helped. The watercoloring on vellum is beautiful. So delicate and soft. Very pretty!

Oh so beautiful. The watercolour and the vellum look fantastic. And how effective are the those flowers in your first card.

Beautiful card with the flower soft. Have some of that sitting in my drawer and haven't tried it yet! :) Love Gary R designs too. I bought a few of them and have used them just a few times.

LOVE that new stamp by Gary Robertson. Have a feeling your card is what brings out its beauty. The watercolor on vellum is so pretty and perfect with that verse. And I am in awe of the Asian themed lovelies in the previous post. Simply stunning!!
Stay warm and well. Spring's only 69 days away...
