This week's Saturday's Workout technique challenge is to use paint and the crumpled foil/plastic wrap technique. This week's Arty Girlz challenge was to use paint. I combined both challenges. I painted a small piece of glossy cardstock with Folk Art Metallic Plum acrylic paint and let it dry with crumpled foil on top (weighted down with an old book). Then I cut out the tag shape with a Cuttlebug die, and stamped and embossed with one of Suzanne Cannon's calligraphy stamps from Quietfire Design, outlined the tag with gold metallic ink, then layered it on different cardstocks. The swirly layer was stamped with Quietfire Design Flourishes, using Color Box chalk inks, and finally, I and added some punched flowers with Swarovski crystals in the centre. So, here's my card, and thanks for visiting today!
